One of the things I have been finding out in life is to never be afraid to ask God for help.  Oftentimes, something will happen, and I will feel I need to solve this myself, its my problem, I shouldnt expect God to help me with it.  But rather, we need to be open to God, to allow Him to work in our life.  Let Him help you.

      Another thing to remember is this: you have to ask God for help!  I have found that you can't receive help from Him unless you ask for it.  Sometimes it can be a very humbling experience when you ask Him to heal you, and to help you through whatever you may be going through in your life.  Don't ever let pride get in the way and say to yourself, "I can make it through this without God's help."  He is always there for us, and is always willing to help us, because we are His children, and He is our Father.
