Entry: Downloading Music Friday, December 24, 2004

I know many of my friends like to download music off the internet.  This is very commonly done in today's society.  However, it is immoral to download music off the internet, without the express permission from the author.  There is a temptation, due to high CD prices, to say that the unjust pricing of the record companies justifies this type of theft.  The ends DO NOT justify the means in this case.

Just wanted to clear that up for anyone out there wondering.  I wrote this with the help of a Seminarian majoring in philosophy.

God bless, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

This was never intended to be a Christmas post, to those who posted here and thought it was. I didn't bother to make a whole separate post to say Merry Christmas, I just wanted to tag it on to another post. Im not going to make another post to say Merry Christmas.

Andrew,

As much as people would not like to admit, but you are very right on this subject. Doing the right thing sometimes is not easy.

Thank you for confirming this and doing the right thing!!

I love you,
Mom
